Thanksgiving fun!

Fun at The Shed!

Turkey Day!!!

Gimme Some Turkey or else!

Right after my big "blowout" at Dinner ;-)

We had a great time in Stowe for Thanksgiving! Georgia was great - she loved the car rides to and from and slept the whole way! We went on a great Horse Drawn Carraige ride that mommy loved and G cried through until she fell asleep! Here are a few pics from the weekend! Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and is enjoying their holidays!

It was a gorgeous ride! What a great way to start the holiday season!

Georgia spent most of her time snuggled with Daddy!

Finally she enjoyed the end when she fell asleep!

its been a while!

Sorry it has been a while since my last post! We have been very busy being busy here! Georgia has been refusing to sleep...she much prefers to play and laugh until she is so exhausted she melts down! It's quite a cycle! Lots has happened in the past few weeks!

Halloween was fun! Georgia dressed up like a Giraffe and made her first trip to the Red Nun with mommy and daddy and auntie sissy!

Auntie Sissy also had her 40th Birthday Party in Bolton! This was Georgia's first trip to Connecticut to visit! She (much like mommy) LOVED it there and had a great time at the party! She slept great in nana's room because she loved the ceiling fans! Too bad our ceilings in Chatham are three feet high and ceiling fans would act as guillotine's here...they would really come in handy for entertainment!

While we were in CT Georgia got to visit our favorite bar the Bidwell too! Such a cozy corner for her and Frank to hang out! That's right... Georgia got to spend some time with her future prom date Frank...I can't believe I forgot to take pictures! Next time!
Georgia is thankful to her second cousin Danielle for coming to Connecticut to play with her during Auntie Sissy's party!

The one other thing we have clearly established since the last post is that Georgia definately prefers to be in the nudie! She loves to hang out on her changing table and smile and laugh while wearing her clothes on her head... or leaving them behind all together! This is where we see the funniest Georgia! I hear from Nana that she get's this from her Auntie Kristin! (surprise surprise...;-) )

G also loves Jeopardy... She cheers for mommy!

Well... that's a little update of what we've been up to! I'll try to keep up better with the posts! Hope everyone is enjoying fall! I can't believe the holidays are almost here!!!

Still daddy's little girl :-) xoxox

bathtime!

Luckily Georgia still loves bathtime! And thanks to the Kerrigans she has a spiffy new towel to cozy up in after her bath! Ribbitt!!!

G also loves to read! Her favorite book so far is clearly inspired by Dad!

And let's not forget to mention Mr. Bruschi! He loves to share the rocky chairs with Georgia and me! There's a little more room when it's just G & B!

Pumpkins!

So I was feeling ambitious and Georgia was in a playful mood... so we went outside and took some pictures in the yard with some fall accessories! My original plan was to take her to Tobey farm to see the pumpkins and maybe pose her with a few and take some pictues... Then I remembered that the pumpkins are in big boxes and I would have to put her in one... and well you know how strangers are- I didn't want anone to see me propping my 5 week old up on some pumpkins to fend for herself while I played Anne Geddens....So the yard it was!

I think they came out nice for her first "glamour shots"!
Hope everyone is enjoying fall!

Sleepin....

Not Sleeping...

Sleeping! :-)

Well Georgia is actually sleeping and while at home (a rare moment) so I will take this time to update the blog! I'm getting used to living on no sleep so I should be with it enough to start posting regularly now! I can't imagine how Steve has lived his entire life sleeping only five hours a night! No wonder you can't wake him once he's asleep!

Georgia has been doing great! I can't believe she is almost six weeks! I wonder where the time went and then I remember I spent most of it in a sleep deprived fog! We are both starting to wake up a little and enjoy more adventures! Yesterday we took a trip up to Wellesley to visit mommy's Dr. and take a fun side trip to Target! G actually stayed awake and loved looking around... How could you not really... It's Target! It's funny though, I am already finding myself nostalgic for the days when she was small...I'm in for it when she goes off to school...

Georgia is also getting so big! I know its cliche, but it really is amazing how fast she grows! She is a big fan of eating... and not a big fan of sleeping unless we are out and about (good for eating out and shopping though! - I think she takes after her Auntie Kristin - uh oh...;-) )

Here I am out to eat :-)
At Oysterfest...all snuggly warm!
She loves to play on her ocean themed playmat! She also loves the Ocean Wonders Aquarium in the crib...not surprising considering she is most certainly a daddy's girl! She is definately not a fan of tummy time - it lasts about 2 minutes... unless its on daddy's chest, then it can go for hours!

Daddy's girl... :-)

And her favorite toy is Mr. Bruschi!!!

And thankfully... G loves bathtime! especially in the kitchen sink!

Well - we are off to do some errands and see some pumpkins! I'll post some pics of that tomorrow!

Here's lookin at you! xoxo

my name is Georgia~!

Now she has a name! Georgia Mae Storey... 7lb, 9oz born September 10, 2008 at 1:12 p.m.

So, it took a while to get settled in... mom is still recovering and GEORGIA MAE is just starting to wake up! She was very sleepy for the first week or so that we were home... I am very grateful for this! At this point we are starting to play more and have decided that sleeping all day (and or night) is not really that much fun! Its still so surreal to me (and Steve?) that this little baby is ours! And I'm sure Mr. Bruschi is still wondering when she is going back to her house!

Here are a few pics from the hospital and our first days home! Now that we are calming down and settling in, we'll post more pics of day to day life as we know it now!

Coming soon...

Welcome to the Scuba FamilyBlog!

I cannot believe Scuba Baby will be here this week! I can't wait to meet her and see who she looks like and what her personality brings (hopefully a lot of the calm that Steve brings and not too many of my nueroses...) It's scary and amazing and crazy to think that we only have a couple more days as a couple. Lying in bed with Mr. B and Steve this morning I could not imagine how a little baby could bring more love into this family... and yet, everyone tells me it is so. I have been scared and excited and apprehensive and eager the whole time I have been pregnant... I can't to get started and feel the love!... I'll keep you posted!
